Default Strange chirp Noise

My truck has been making a rotational chirp noise lately. It happens when I turn but also sometime when I'm goijg slowly and let of the gas. It will typically chirp like 3 times and be done. Any thoughts? It's a rotational noise. First though is front axle u joints. But why would it do it when I let off the gas going slow as well? I replaced the frontmost u joint on the front driveshaft and just did both rear driveshaft joints like a week ago. Thoughts? I can't feel any in the axle u joints but I've learned most of the time you can't unless its making a clunk noise. It's a 2000 Ram 1500 46re with a open differential from a 2008 Ram 1500. It's got disk brakes front and back

Bearings, brakes, joints. Could easily be the axle joints as you suspect. When I have bad joints, they do what you describe.

Huh. Didn't think of the possibility of the wheel bearings. That's a good possibility considering the truck has 208k miles.

Is the noise coming from the front or rear? I get that noise from the rear periodically when I make turns left or right. I'm pretty sure its my limited slip unit chattering. I need to add more limited slip additive to quiet it down.

Not totally sure but I think front. I have an open rear. Not really sure what could be making the noise in the back. All u joints back there are replaced. If it back there it probably would not be cheap....

First though is front axle u joints.
Did you inspect them? Lift the wheel off the ground and turn it wile watching the u joint. If it's never been replaced it wont have a grease fitting. If it does might want grease them.
