Default Repair manual?

I just bought a 2000 Ram and was wondering what your recommendation was for the best repair manual to buy. I know there is probably Chilton's and Peterson but any suggestions would be helpful. Some are probably better detailed than others. Thanks.

The best ones to get are the ones from Dodge ....But the cheap ones from the part stores work just fine for most details

I'll second that motion! Go to that post at the top of this forum and download it. Then make a copy to a CD so you can put it in your laptop and take it out to your truck when you work on it.......

On this forum page where you found my original question, go to the top of the page (above the wide red line) and there is a thread labeled Merry Christmas. Click in there to get the manual.
