With the sur-grip set up like Chrysler used to use, the tires will spin opposite directions if you fo it easy. Get aggressive and the clutches will grab and they will both turn the same way. If you remove the rear cover when you change the oil, you'll see a bunch of plates in the sur-grip unit. If you just see some gears and it's open, you have a peg leg.
