Help please. 99 dodge ram 1500. Rear wheel drive. 5.2. Dash read "no bus" and stalled on highway. No check engine light. Bought new ECM and changed it. Dash no longer says no bus but will not turn over. Took battery to charge it before I changed the ECM. Any ideas? Starter maybe?

 

Did you try to load test the battery to ensure that it was putting out enough amperage to start the truck?

 

This is what I can find as to your problem and it seems most point towards a bad PCM. I will also post another video of bypassing jerry rid. It's up to you if you want to try it. Now these say the No bus.

 

Turn over means the engine will crank, Start or fire up the engine will run.
