I've read alot of negative reviews on electric fans, especially in towing applications, I messaged a member on here about the FFD fan before purchasing them but he had not responded until recently and he said he went back to a mechanical fan

Well my diesel has the the Flex a lite kit for that truck, it does great daily driving but heck most dodge trucks dont need a fan daily driving with their enormous radiators
Well the diesels and v10 had larger radiators than the rest. The v6 and 8 ones had the same radiator. FFD only sells single fans so you have to make up a shroud. With two of these should do the job. I'm partial to flex a lite because i have a twin fans in the stock shroud and retain the stock design/shroud. I did also upgrade to a larger cfm stock replacement fan. This was all because the replacement radiator could not keep it cool. After it failed got another and found that the old replacement didn't have enough cooling tubes as the original. If you need to get a replacement radiator count the # of cooling tubes and don't except any replacement with less than that. Flex a lite has a lot more options than FFD.
