Whining When Moving
My truck is currently making a whining noise when moving. Don't really have to be going fast at all. Basically just barely even moving. Makes it with the truck off and coasting. Any thoughts? It's a 2000 1500 with a 2008 rear end in it. Just swapped the rear end in a year ago with a junkyard one. Everything seemed completely fine. It's had this nosie for a while but just got a bit more noticeable the day I moved to college of course... here is a video

it's really hard to tell where it's coming from. Of course I made it to college and on the first day i get this. I'll will have to jack it up and listen when I get home. Do you think a pinion bearing could make this noise?
I didn't respond initially because I really don't know. My '07 F150 makes a similar noise but it's far more subtle and mostly under power so I think it's the auto trans. Never worried about it because it's done it for all 45k miles I've owned the vehicle and never gotten worse.
If yours does it coasting when the vehicle is off, that's odd. It's obviously something that spins when rolling, so axles, driveshafts or transfer case. I know that's no help but can only do so much from afar.
