Thanks for all the help last week in my other post " gutless 2001 off road".
I recieved my programmer last night. I popped it in, answered the simple questionson the screen, and took it for a ride when I was done. It was amazing, to me, how much of a difference this made in the take off for this truck. It finally runs like a truck with a 360 should!!! Not a race truck but definately better than it has ever been. I am anxious now to see if it helps improve the daily fuel economy at all, as well as how it will handle the load of pulling our race trailer. I will let you know in a week or so. ( after I'm back to driving it normal) Thanks again for the help!

 

ya dude i had the same issues you were having w/ lack of power n what not at low rpms ...and it seemed like everyone on here sweared by that hypertech so i went out n got one...hooked it up last night...its rainin here now so i cant really see if it made a big differance but it definatly shifts smoother and climbs threw the r's better

 

you should both switch to a 180 t-stat and run premium... if your towing, you may have a pinging issue to deal with when using the 93 program.

 

10-4 on that steve...i just gotta new stat for it as well (my heat sucked) and the most i tow is my waverunner so i think ill be alrite
