Ya, not sure why they selected the years they did. The letter I got is for the years/models listed, so maybe there is another version of the letter for other year/models that is a little different. Maybe if others have gotten a letter that is different then mine, they can post a copy of it.

I'm really liking the sound of the magnaflow high flow cat now that I have driven it a few more times. Really woke up my Flowmaster 50. I had been debating changing to a flowmaster 40, but could never get myself to replace a part that I just installed and was perfectly good. Having this new improved sound helps curb that desire for now, but I bet someday I will go with a Magnaflow muffler or else a Flowmaster 40. Heck, if they get rid of emissions in my county (which is what they are saying they are going to do), then I should run straight pipes and make my neighbors really love me.


I'm going to try to post a sound clip this weekend if I have time.

 

Hey Silver Dodge, where did you get your cat? I was thinking of putting one on when I upgrade to headers. It would be nice to have them done at the same time. I have seen a company on e-bay that sells them for 80 bucks I think. Where I live there is no emission test so I thought about not running one at all, but my wife is a little bit of a tree hugger(using that term loosly!) so I don't think that would fly.[:@]

 

The exhaust shop that installed mine has them in stock, so I just got it from them.

 

looks like i'm on my own on all of them...(3 trucks) the '97 dak has 127k and the other 2 are to new :-(
