Anyone on here done a 4th gen dash swap? I am in the middle of doing one on my 98. I have a dash out of a 2011. I have read what's posted out there and watched what's on You Tube, but I am having an issue with clearance, as far as depth goes. I have the dash top all the way against the windshield, but still need it to go another 3 inches toward the firewall to clear everything. Not sure if anyone has any experience to share. I have it temporarily mounted so i can drive it, until I can pull it back out next week. Will post up some pics soon.

I pulled the dash from a 2011 1500 Crew Cab (4 full size doors) Wondering if the dashes are just slightly bigger in different 4th gen models or if they are all the same like ours? As far as depth, I measure approximately 19 1/2 inches from the windshield to the edge over the center of the gauge cluster area, not sure if different on another 4th gen model. I would imagine they are all the same but wanted to rule out that being the issue.

Nothing i have read on 4th dash swaps has mentioned this issue, so not sure what the problem is with this part of the fitment.
