Default Any clue where this goes?

2001 Ram 1500 5.9L 4x4. I finally had the time and cooperation from the weather to get out here and chase down vacuum leaks. I had 3 broken lines, this is the only one I cant seem to find where it goes. Greatly appreciate any help!

Could go to control your 4WD or the duct work (heat & A/C) inside your truck. Do each of those work as they should? If not, you may have found the issue..

The one coming out the center of the T at that bullet-type tip is connected to the line going through the firewall at the evaporator. Unless there are supposed to be 2 there in which case I'm screwed lol because I'll be pulling the dash. The one for the 4x4 I got reconnected, it was broken in 2 places. The only climate control issue I seem to be having is the AC blowing hot air, but I just figured that out today too, low refrigerant. The high side and low side are running damn near parallel on pressure. So now I have to dye test and find that leak.

Cruise control is also triggered via vacuum, but I can't recall where the vacuum line runs from. There should be a vacuum line running to the cruise control unit.

That goes to the reservoir under the cowl.

I agree, I just had the same issue with my a/c-heat stuck on on setting and that right there was the issue.

Where did you find that schematic? I'd been scouring the internet for at least 12 hours over a couple of days looking through vacuum line schematics and they all pretty much just shoved me to the emission system schematic that's under the hood. I even spent an hour or so digging in the FSM and came up empty. BTW, after seeing this diagram and my picture, I feel like an idiot lol I have the end of that tube right where it's supposed to go!

I suspect that diagram came out of the Dodge service manual for your year truck. You can download it via this link - https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...e-manuals.html
