Headlights
Hey everybody, recently upgraded my stock lights with a HID conversion kit with light shields. The pattern is not the best but still way better lighting then what I was getting. Main problem is when I flip on my high beams a lot of lighting that should be going strait forward goes up and to the left and right ( get a dead spot in the center). I get good lighting to the sides but not on the road. Any fix? Was thinking of switching to projector headlights as obviously these would work better with the HID's but don't want to spend a fortune on new housings. I was looking at Spyder lights and alike brands but seems that they don't work/hold up the best? Any advise greatly helps to make current set up work or if you know of any not real expensive projector housings that work well.
Is this some Chinese junk you got off ebay? The stock housings are for reflected light, To get a good beam pattern you need projectors with clear housings. There are a few out there but not exactly cheap. Get clear housings and put in a decent projectors.

I upgraded to sport style headlights (2 headlight bulbs on each side instead of 1) along with upgraded headlight wiring harnesses with relays from these folks - https://ceautoelectricsupply.com/hea...ion-relay-kit/
You can also get the upgrade harnesses from LMC Truck or Geno's garage at a cheaper price, however, they aren't made as well as the other kit.
I've been much happier with my headlight output since the upgrade.
