Default Transmission dipstick length for 2000 Ram 2500 5.9L Magnum

Really odd question but, does anyone know the length of the transmission dipstick for a 2000 Ram 2500 5.9L Magnum? I bought my truck from a guy who had replaced the engine at his buddies shop and I feel like he may have accidentally grabbed the wrong dipstick for the transmission. It seems way too short. Autozone and O'reilly don't really have an option for one and the dealership says it's discontinued and "good luck" with no other info. Of course the salvage yards near me don't have any of the trucks in the yard with an engine or transmission left in them.

Might want to download the Dodge factory parts manual for your year truck via this link - https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...s-manuals.html

Check the factory parts manual for the part number of the dipstick tube you need, then try Google searching for it to see if you can find it somewhere NOS or aftermarket.

If you have a pick and pay salvage yard near you, that's another way to find one.

The transmission dipstick tube and stick are pretty long to make accessing it easier.
