i am about to get an mp3 player for my truck and ive got 2 questions which one is the best mp3 player (at least 10gb) and which is better sound quality cassette adapter or rf adapter

 

I would recommend an FM Modualtor in line. I have a wireless,cassette, and in line. The inline in my 2005 Durango is best, it is more time consuming to install but the sound is better. The cassette works fine for my 2000 Ram sounds ok and it's cheap. The wireless is good for a rental car with no cassette player. The MP3 player I have is a Dell DJ 30 gb. The reason I bought a Dell is I can buy music from more places,(Matchmusic,Wal-mart,MSN,etc). Hope this will help.

 

is there anyway to use a psp for this? i have a bunch of music on my psp and want to be able to use it in my truck.

 

I'd have to say an Ipod (not a nano) or Creative Zen would be the best. It's really personal preference as to what style you like and what fits your budget. They're both good models. Just don't buy an Ipod Nano.

Sound quality is more dependant on the quality of Mp3 you put on there. Anything below 128kbps isn't going to sound good.

As far as using your PSP, you'd need to install an FM modulator in line like xtech was explaining...or get a wireless transmitter/cassette adapter. As long as it has a headphone jack, you can listen to it in your vehicle on the vehicle's sound system.

 

First off, why not get a CD unit that plays MP3's?? that way,burn a cd for like 20 cents and when yer tired of it tossit!

 

Because a cd will only hold 700mb. Some people like to have more music than that with them..more of a variety. I have a 60gb Ipod myself, and it's over half full already.

 

See, I don't see the issue of having 4 or 5 cd;s in my visor that hold so many songs..... if your that ADD lol, I can't help, on a good note, supposedly there is an Alpine that is a nav unit,that reads MP3, so, mightbe able to do DVD mp3
