It should without any major issues. Just check the intake manifold from the old engine and ensure it has the same sensors as the new motor. If not, swap the intake manifold over from old engine. You should also use the old 46RE transmission that came out of the 2000 vehicle to ensure there are no computer incompatibility issues.
