Well. I made it back home 190 miles on whatever was causing the issue. Diagnosing this thing was a doozy.

The shaking is happening during letoff from throttle but while in gear (6 speed manual).

Then it started shaking during acceleration.

Then the noise went away but came back.

I haven’t checked the fronts yet but mid trip I stopped for fuel and crawled under there and found that all of a sudden there’s a about 1/4” of movement on the u joint at the rear axle so that’s where I’ll start. I’m also going to jack up the wheels today and check for bearings and front u joints.

I’m just glad to have made it home. Big girl came through for me.
