i'm looking at buying a 2nd gen 24v from someone (not sure the year or mileage yet)

it's a 3500 automatic truck

I know the lift pump is definitely something to pay attention to on these trucks because of the issues they can cause with the pump
and i know the automatics are troublesome.

i know a thing or two about diesels from working on tractors but I've never messed with a 24v in a dodge except for the common rail trucks.
is there anything else that i should be looking for when inspecting this truck before i buy it?

This truck will be used for towing equipment trailers with skid steers and small excavators, it won't be used as a daily driver.
