Default Shorty Header brands for gasser?

Got a 98 1500 5.2 and im looking into getting shorty headers. I know that pacesetter was usually the go to brand for headers, but sadly they stopped making headers for our trucks recently. So that being said, whats the next best option for me? I've heard of Gibson before, but Im bit hesitant spending nearly $600 on headers.

Any help is great. Thanks

I got lucky and found a used set of coated JBA shorty headers for my truck (5.2 and 5.9 take the same header) on Craigslist locally some years ago. I had a set of used Pacesetter shorty headers on my truck before that however, they weren't coated and the fit where the Y-pipe connected wasn't the best. You can try Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist to find a used set or check eBay for a new or used set.

The part mumber is 70-1315 for the Pacesetter's. They are out there but discontinued. They filed for bankrupcy a couple of years back. They are smog legal. The gasket and hardware are crap, I used a Remflex 6004 for the gasket and ARP 144-1202 hardware. 6 years and still working properly and no retorque of hardware. Truck mostly sits and driven 500-1000 miles a year.

I can't say enough about Gibson headers. Been on my truck since 2010 I think. Couple of the bolts are a bitch.
