Default "Bonking" noise from right rear bed?

I hear a bonking/clunking noise from the right rear suspension while driving down a bumpy road. It's the same noise you might get if a shock or strut was loosly mounted. Mine appear to look fine. It appears the helper spring bumpers are intact, though the upper bumpers are only about 1/8" thick or smaller.
Any ideas? Anyone with the same problem?

Thanks for the quick reply.
The thin one I'm talking about is in "figure 3" of your posting. The thin one is the one in the picture he is NOT hammering on. The one he is replacing in figure 3 is the one that is ~1/2" thick.
How thick is the "upper" one in figure 3?

I just came from the dealer. He claims that the "bumpers" or "bushings" between the springs are part of the spring assembly. The only way he says you can buy them is with a new spring assembly!!!
Do you think this is true? If not, where do I get them?
Thanks

i know this may sound stupid but i drove myself crazy with a similar sound and after fighting with the dealer for weeks about this found out what it was when i smashed my knee on it. lol yup my pintle in my trailer hitch was bumping around and i never realized it. its probably not the case but it doesnt hurt to throw it out there for the heck of it. lol i hate stupid things like that. thats what i get for over thinking every noise i hear.
