Default tires

Mr. cheapskate here was looking for USED & only used tires to put on super high mileage 97 W1500, the best tires to be had were on a FROD but 17 inch wheel. I am not out @ the yard now but would a 17" wheel fit on my 97??? No, I"m not buying different wheels. The truck is rusty, high mileage, but trust just under 300,000. Its like Harry, a SPARE.

If the wheels have the 5 x 5.5 pattern they will fit just fine. Ford ran 5 x 5.5 into the 90s, I think until they switched to 6 bolt wheels, but best confirm with a better source then me.

I know Furd had a smaller center bore than Dodge even with the same bolt circle. I would check that if you plan on purchasing. Look on Craigs list i see stock Dodge rims all the time.

Also, check Facebook Marketplace, too... Folks are selling used Dodge rims and tires there regularly...
