Weird, I posted in this thread earlier today but it didn't make it. In any case, the relay obviously shouldn't make that racket. I don't think there's a problem with the solenoids in the transmission, try to figure out the relay issue first. Does it click with the engine running ? You should be able to feel if it continues to flutter. The wiring diagram shows the relay control getting power from the alternator field circuit which is really weird. Maybe that's to make sure the alternator is working before turning on power to the solenoids.

I’ll have to feel if it’s clicking with the engine running. I did notice now I’m not even able to erase the check engine light at all. It won’t even erase for a second

i tried understanding the wire diagram but honestly it’s a little confusing for me

Curious as I am I pulled the transmission relay on my truck, and with the ignition on there is no power on pin 86 which is the pin that connects to the generator field circuit. With the engine running pin 86 has power and the PCM can turn on power to the transmission. As I guessed above this makes sure the engine is running before sending power to the transmission. With the relay pulled the PCM sets P0573 and P1765.
You might want to dig around the alternator wiring or maybe the alternator itself is the problem.

I messed with it for a little bit after reading what you said and this is what I found:

the relay doesn’t do anything at all with the engine running, no fluttering and no vibration at all.

when the key is on engine off and the relay is going crazy, if I disconnect the plug in the back of the alternator the pattern changes and it gets a lot quieter (the relay)

if I turn the engine back on and then off, with the alternator plug still unplugged, the noise doesn’t happen at all.

with the alternator plug still unplugged I am able to clear the engine codes but they immediately come back on when I start the engine but I’m not able to see what codes they are for some reason, my code reader is stating the engine isn’t running when it is
