Default 24v mods?

Looking to gain a little more power or reliability, anyone have any good mod suggestions?

All I can tell you is that my non-profit's '02 CTD has had one of the uber-basic Edge chips since the dawn of time.

It sticks to the top of the fuse box and has three settings you manually select there at the box. I believe it's on the middle setting. The truck pulls hard and has 320k freedom units.

It just interrupts the harness to the VP44; not sure what it does from there EXACTLY because I've just never taken the time to research, but I know this is the crudest and most basic form of a "chip"

FWIW
