Hi folks, I have a 99 Ram 1500 5.2 auto 4x4. The transmission was shifting hard so I figured a fluid change would be a good idea (I don’t know the history of the truck, just bought it - it has 260,000 km on it, I bought it as a restoration project, kind of). After I changed the fluid and filter, it now slips and shuts off when I put it in Drive. Any suggestions? Thanks very much.

 

Did you verify fluid level in N?
