Default Need some advice on a 2001 Dodge 1500 got the 5.9 gas engine

I'm working on this Dodge for a friend and he said the truck was running fine until the other day he went to crank it when he try it it would spend over but wouldn't fire up I went and looked at it and it's got a code in it P0100 he sprayed some starting fluid in it and it didn't hit a lick and I don't have any fire coming out of the has anyone have a clue what's going on with this truck

That code points to a faulty MAP sensor -

just did mine yesterday lol, except mine presented with a different host of issues without a CEL pretty easy fix but you will need a pretty small screwdriver or a ratcheting bit driver to get the bolts out of the map and also remember there is a 90 degree tiny vacuum line running from the sensor to the throttle body
