Parked my 2002 ram 1500 4.7l got out locked it went about my day, and a buddy of mine saw my park lights on. thinking i was an idiot and left my lights on i went to turn them off when i found my lights off. tried cycling key, cycling light switch to no avail. I've disconnected the battery for now. wondering if this could be my ignition barrel or the module behind it.....

on another note my blower motor some times works right off the hop with my key on other times i need to cycle the key a bunch to get the blower to stay on.

this adding to my suspicion of my issue being ignition related.....

 

This should be in the 3rd gen section. If the key isn't fully shutting off I suppose it possible but something is still telling your lights to be on with the switch of, the key would not do this, but they should time out with key off. To they shut off if you press the parking brake down? possibly DRL failure
