help!
I own a 1998 Dodge ram 2500 V 10 magnum 8.0 L it has an automatic transmission. I got it very cheap about seven months ago and it didn’t seem to have any problems but it shut off on the way home and I haven’t been able to get it to stay running. since then i’ve replaced a number of things and I’ll attach a list of them below. right now I have a crank and no start issue. I believe it’s fuel related because it starts up for a few seconds when I use starting fluid. I thought replacing the fuel pump would fix it because when I would try to start it without starting fluid, the old fuel pump would only prime sometimes. but now with the new fuel pump in and all the connection secured, i don’t hear it priming at all. I’ve had some issues with electrical over the past few months with other non-starting related components of the truck like headlights and the dash cluster and things like that so right now I think I probably have a grounding issue. if anybody knows anything about this or could help me sort out my grounding issue I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!
