I have a 2001 dodge 2500. I was driving one day after having no issues and suddenly there was blue smoke coming from the exhaust. It was driving fine but once I came to a stop at a red light it just shut off and wouldn’t crank or anything when trying to start again. Could anyone on here give me an idea of what my problem may be? From people I’ve asked I’ve heard it could be the rear main seal or the head gasket.

 

it doesn't crank over at all like the batteries are dead or the motor is locked up? What engine are we dealing with
