Default Dreaded 46re issues

Hello all, so here for the past couple of times I’ve drove my truck (dodge isn’t my daily driver) my 1st has been delayed shifting into 2nd unless I let off it’ll shift. I adjusted the TV cable best into spec I could & it got a lot better but not quite perfect. Last Saturday I left to the grocery store & after about 5 minutes it wouldn’t shift into 2nd from first & when I’d come from a stop after that it would rev way high up (in sync with my throttle) but I’d hardly move at all but I’d still move nonetheless not like slipping at all. I made it to the grocery store by time it started doing that so I went in & by time I left to see what was going on it drives normal but it just still won’t shift from 1st to second. I have no codes, and I haven’t had more than a couple hours to fool with it but I’m hoping to get her diagnosed this weekend. Any insight is appreciated

Please double check the TV cable and make sure it's in good condition. I ended up having to replace mine as it would bind up periodically and not allow the transmission to shift correctly. Also, check to ensure that the TV cable return spring is correctly connected down at the transmission. If needed, you can download a copy of the factory service manual for your year truck here to review the TV cable information in the automatic transmission section of the manual - https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...e-manuals.html
