Default Bilstein 4wd shocks on a 2wd

I came up on a brand new set of bilstein shocks for a great deal I couldn't pass up. They were supposed to be for a 2wd 2500. Ended up being for a 4x4 2500.... so they're really really long. I really want to use these bilsteins. Anyone ever fabbed new shock mounts on a 2wd to use longer 4wd shocks?

Not wise, The longer shock will allow the suspension to extend past where it was designed to go. Not to mention it may bottom out early also. Sell them and get the correct ones.
