Default RE: FLOWMASTER

I was debating on buying a kit off ebay or muffler then pipes at local auto parts store, either way i would do it with clamps and eventually get it welded but probably not right away. Could anyone who has or had a clamp-on exhaust tell me how good it holds together???

Thanks

I got my exhaust kit off of ebay. I had it clamped at first to see if I liked it. Once I decided that I liked the tone of the muffler, I went back and welded it together. I didn't really notice any differences between when it was clamped and when it was welded together. I was glad that I had clamped it originally because I ended up swapping out my 50 series for a 40 series flowmaster. If I had welded it right away, the swap would have been a lot more involved.
