Question 4x4 Lift Kit on 2wd???

Truck: 2000 Ram 1500 2wd (short box regular cab)

Okay hear me out , as many of you may have experienced there are very few options for small lift kits (specifically for 2wd)

Lots of people (companies ) offer 2”-2.5” leveling kits (front coil spacers )… for 2wd 2nd gen’s

But shouldn’t the 4wd 2” lift kit fit a 2wd?

Hear me out …. The leaf springs are the same so the rear blocks should fit in there. And the front takes the same coil spacers… (of course shocks will have to swap out too but that’s obvious)

Am I missing something here? Shouldn’t I be able to throw this 4wd kit on and just get a camber alignment in the front ?

😁- BC
My first 2wd second gen. I’ve had five 4x4 2nd gen’s over the years and scored this thing for cheap from an old lady, fresh upholstery and a rebuilt 3.9. ( it’s my new chore runner)

I thought the 2wd front springs were different setup from the 4x4 due to the IFS, however I could be wrong, I'm sure the rear is the same as a 4x4

You know what I spoke too soon the 2wd does not have the 3 bolt holes that the 4x4 has … so I think I’ll get the “2wd” leveling coil spacer And some 4x4 blocks for the rear … 🤣
