Default Intermittent check engine light

So this has been going on since I bought the truck about a year and a half ago it’s a 1997 ram 1500 4wd with 177k miles but about every 300 miles or so I get a code for a cylinder 1 misfire. It runs a tad lumpy but if I clear the code it runs like butter I’m thinking injector wires maybe it’s grounded out a tad every once and a while and causing the CPU to try and correct it by overcompensating causing the lumpiness and check engine light but just not sure.

Have you checked/replaced the plugs wires cap/rotor? Have you checked your plenum gasket(oil at the bottom on the intake)?
