Default Brush guard on sport truck

I have an 01 sport 1500 that i wanted to put a brush guard on to but they all said they won't fit with the sport bumper, so I was wondering if anyone in here had put one on a sport truck or if anyone knows what modifications i would have to do to my bumper to make it work

Without knowing the guard type its hard to say but typically it just involved cutting the plastic bumper shell for installing the lower brackets. Steel bumpers the brackets wrap the shape and bolt through the bottom, 99+ sport bumpers have a plastic shell that is not shape the same and doesn't allow for installation without custom modifications to the plastic shell, and the underneath bumper itself is all shaped different, but the mounting locations can be used basically the same way

this work can be done in a very clean stock looking matter if you have the skills and tool, but it will weaken the plastic cover and be prone to cracking especially with any type of impact in cold weather
