Vapor charcoal can
So I have a question I’m trying to replace my charcoal canisters on my 2001 Dodge ram 1500 5.9
But I’ve noticed that only the square canister is able to be replaced the round one is not able to be found. Is there a way to get around this situation?
I was thinking about maybe just omitting the round canister and just utilizing the square one as a single
Or the possibility of just getting two square ones and modifying the set up
Any thoughts?

Do you have the OE part number for the vapor canister that comes on your truck? If so, Google it. Also, check eBay. If you don't have the part number, download the factory parts manual for your year truck via the link here and look it up - https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...s-manuals.html
You can also check with a dealer parts counter to see if the OE part has been superseded, so you can obtain the new/current part number...

Years ago i got a code for the evap system, I found the canister was full of water! Up by the brake booster there is a vent, Mine(1996) the cap was missing and water went down it to the canister. I could have gotten a new one because the part # was on it. Instead i cut the back off took the charcoal out dried it and put it back together. If i remember correctly you could get the filter that blows out at the time but mine was in good condition. Worst case you could cut your open and put new charcoal and a filter in it if it's not available.
