Got the proper one off of Ebay. Three bolts. 4 wd have four bolt holes. Good used condition. $43 American. My parts guy at Fisher correctly stated that many of the sellers on Amazon and EBay are cluelesss.
I got lucky. tk7autoparts on EBay had a drivers side shield, and after I purchased it I asked them to see if they had the passenger side as well. It would have been better to purchace both at the same time, but, hey it got the job done. The pair in excellent shape was 85 US delivered, two deliveries, and I am not complaining. I would recommend those guys. In my area, Maryland, they salt and brine like crazy. It would have taken me three hours at best to hit a pick and pull, and remove the parts, driving time included. Once again, tip of the hat to those who responded, and to TK autoparts. They are out of South Carolina, so other than beach rides, no salt.

2001 Ram 2500 2wd 5.9 v8. WOLONGCARS. I got my ft suspension bump stops, a pair, out of NJ for $17.93 shipping included. They were on ebay, thought they were a scam, but I turned out to be very wrong.
The MOOG ball joints I had put in four years ago had rubber failure on both uppers. Less that 30K miles of highway driving, lightly loaded.
Akebono and Denso I still believe in, some Standard Motor Parts stuff. Anybody that has been acquired by american vewnture capital, no bueno. No vale la pena.
More money today just seems to be more money.
