i just recently bought a 99 ram 1500 5.9 2wd and was wondering if anyone had an opinion on what was the better choice of programmers. A friend of mine had a hypertech on his 99 silverado and that hauls ***, but i also hear good things about superchips. Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks

 

Personally, I choose hypertech, but that is b/c I have hypertech on my truck.

 

Your going to be hard pressed to find someone who has tried both a Superchips and a Hypertech and can tell you which is better. They are expensive so most just buy one or the other and go with it. You could try to compare the dyno sheets that are on their websites, but I would take those with a grain of salt. I can say that just about everyone who has one (either one of those brands at least) says that they are good. I have a Hypertech and am very happy with it. I think you will be happy with either one.
