5 speeds..
I dont know, but I have read that the stock intake manifolds should preform best between idle and 5000rpm, and then some aftermarket intake manifolds are designed for a 1500 to 6500rpm range. I never have taken my 5.2 over 5000... so I dont really know anything.

yeah.. well i can really feel it pull up till about 3500-4,000... so thats usually when i shift (4,000) but then it gets into 3rd and just bogs out.. maybe 4:56's will take care of the problem
those shift kits are for auto's. If your looking to mod your manual transmission, look for a short throw kit for your manual transmission.

Well I have had my truck hit off the rev limiter a few times but that was on mis shift while i was burnin rubber. lol. But like from a dead stop my truck will take off good and when she hits 3rd gear, buddy hold on cuz it flys then, 4th really isn't that great. I have ran the 1/4 mile in my truck where I live but it is on a regular 2-line road. It is a little up hill and i can run the 1/4 in not sure how many seconds but I run about 100 mph on average.
