I have a 2001 dodge 4x4 deisel , the problem I have is the inside lights stay on
I checked both of the door switches with omhmeter , they seem to be working fine.

are you sure your dash light dimmer switch isn't set for the cab lights to come on? My '02 and '05 Ram dimmer switch would get to the brightest setting for the dash, then click to turn on the cab lights, then click to turn on the bed light (the white lights around the third brake light).

Yes I'm sure about the switch position , another problem is when inside the
cab with the doors closed and the key in the off position the bell rings as if the door was open with the the key in the ignition ?

agreed...theres something wrong with the door switches...theyre not reading what they are saposed... prolly up closer towards the light circuit... prolly not near where the switches are but maybe around where it taps and taps into the control switch
