Paid $100 for my side windows. Sorry to lose another to the tint ***** that the police state has employed, it's really sad that things like window tint can be used to pull you over (to search your vehicle and get money from you) I myself like the privacy of my windows and windshield and I doubt I will ever strip my tint unless the cop threatens to throw me in jail for it. I have a court date Monday to go see if my pending ticket gets thrown out because I have a doctor's permit for my migranes caused by bright light but the cop still gave me a ticket saying that eye problems arent a valid excuse. Really sucks but there's nothing I can do but go legal or strip it and I dont really think legal tint is worth having at the current levels that they are set to. In Georgia they can give you $1000 dollars a window that's over the limit or even jail time, which is kind of rediculous(sp?) either way I hate to see the day, which is coming, when any tint at all will be outlawed. Dark tint is nice but it's not worth the hassles sometimes.

sorry to dig this up again but I know some states slap you with probation when you are caught carrying dope and its a 200 fine. Imagine getting 1000 dollar fine and or jail time for window tint. This law just goes how messed up things are. Im all for saving cops lives. I would rather he yell on his pa to roll down all my widows and step out of the car then this law.

I thought my car was blacked out with 5% all the way around... i didn't know people actually tinted their windshields...
hows it work at night or heavy rain?

i bought kit DIY kit off ebay....already precut. very easy. did have a little porblem with back window not matching since i had sliding window that opened on both sides instead of one sliding glass (which is what i was send), but for $40 i was able to do the other 4 windows. then i ran to pep boys and picked up some more tint and did the back. around here, you are looking for about $150-180 to do the same tint job i did.

Alta mere in Ft. Worth I went 20% over the Stock Privacy TENT and 35% on Each Door and a 20 % Strip to the AS1 Line in the Front total Bill with TAX and Lifetime Warranty 209.00 yea i know it was A lot but I like what they DID...

I live in the middle of Illinois and someone I know that tints said it was illegal to have side window tint at all.............maybe hes jst a huge tool....idk
