Default Door/Light warning dinger?

I tried a search and came up with nothing...is there a light/door dinger on these trucks? Such as if you leave the lights on and turn the truck off and open the door a bell dings? Or it will ding if the door is open and ur keys are in? Mine doesnt, so I dont know if it is supose to or not? Thanks

have you checked the door switch to see if it is still there and working? mine has that problem.

maybe the buzzer or whatever it is is disconnect from the previous owner getting annoyed with it

On the 94-97's its a buzzer. Its annoying as HELL. I was going to disconect mine but I know the day I do I'll leave my head lights on and come back to a dead battery [&:]

Yeah...I have a habit of leaving them on cause I like to run my parkers and fog lights....and without that idiot warning haha Im in trouble...so before I dig out the owners manual or shop manual, wheres this buzzer located?

the buzzer is under the dash but the switch is in between the hinges on the cab. it is a little push button.

I have pulled every fuse and relay that says buzzer anything to get it so stop...and it keeps going!!! Ahh!

Mine just doesn't buzz, I figured it was a blown fuse cause there are several I have already replaced that are all blown. I keep leaving my lights on, but I always catch it as soon as I lock the door, lol.
