Default Adding Cruise Control

I want to add cruise control to my 97 1500 318 with the NV3500.
I'm starting from scratch not really knowing what I need, so anyone out there who's added the factory cruise know what parts I'll need or have a link to a write up on it?
I'd like to go dumpster diving at a wrecker for a fun project, but if too much is involved I'll pop to have DC do it.

Installing one you got out of a junk yard is way to much trouble than its worth. And having a dealer do it is way more than its worth.

I had a friend of mine get it installed on his peice of **** Saturn. He got it at some shop (not the dealer) if I remember right it was under $200. And I even want to say under $100.

Too bad, I was hoping someone would say all the harneses were there and I just needed to add the controls/t-body controls.
I had it installed on my 94 way back in the day. It was about $500 CND so I was sort of expecting that range.
I guess I'll take it to the stealership. Thanks!
