Last night while driving, my oil light came on and my oil guage started fluctuating like crazy and suddenly dropped to no read. Than after about 20 seconds, the light kicked off and the guage returned to normal. I know my oil is full, and i've only had this truck a week so I'm not sure all it's little quirks yet, but last week I hooked up an OBDII tester and it pulled no codes, so I'm wondering what the hell happened. Is it a solenoid or a fuse or something??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

most likely the oil pressure sending unit. Not very hard to change. They normally start to leak alittle oil and then start giving screwy readings.
