97 5.9L 1500 performance upgrades
What are some performance upgrades i can do to my truck. I have a K&n cold air intake. I was thinking headers,tuner or chip, Some wires, spark plugs, anything to help wiht hp without going into the motor. If at all possible i would like specigic brands and why you chose that one. And with the headers i would like Long tube ones. Thanks

Exhaust -Magnaflow for a good sound, Flowmaster for a LOUD sound. Also go with a high flow cat, like Magnaflow

Headers -I hear Gibson, JBA's are good. I dunno that much about headers though
Ignition- MSD coil's I hear are good
Thats pretty much the basics, but theres lots more you could do.
Heads, Cam, Rockers, ect.
Do it in that order

I would do common maintenence first. Change your fluids, using synthetic ect. Also check for a blown plenum.
