Default Tranny Noise Revisited

Well some of you may remember my past post a few months ago with the weird tranny noise that had everybody stumped. Well I just put a new timing chain and oil pump on my truck and I am driving it again and still have the noise. Today I decided to pull my codes and I got the usual o2 sensor (cause Ihave a gutted cat a no o2's) well I had a new code p0740 which is for the torque converter. Thankfully I ordered a torque converter last week from dan and it will be here on the 6th and I will hopefully be installing it next weekend. I will let everybody know how it goes and if it fixes the problem. If anybody has any help on the process of replacing the toprque converter I am all ears because this will be the first time I have ever messed with an auto tranny.

Wish me luck and I appologize for the ramble and bad grammer I'm from the south.

when installing the t/c be sure to lube the hub and spin it while you are putting it into the pump to make sure it engages the pump.
