Hi everyone, I am saving up for an intake kit and I was wondering If i could get a topic started on whether I should get the volant or Aem. I have a 2000 1500 5.9L I really like the look of the Aem but am worried about it taking in warm engine air and I also heard where it connects to the throttle body is fragile. As far as the volant, I like the box and it seems it connects well to the throttle body i just dont like the look too much. Please let me know your opinions. Thanks!

 

I've got the volant w/ the ram air tube and have gained a very respectable amount of torque. it is a pain to install the hardest part is getting the hole in the top of the tube to line up to the tb stud that they give you. other than that it is an excelent system.

I dunnop if anybody on here runs an AEM. Most go with K&N FIPK, what I hear is the best
