I have a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with a 5.9ltr. V-8 and I'm having trouble with the shifter on the steering column. I'm able to shift from park to reverse to neutral to drive, but I can't shift into 2nd or 1st. I'm not sure if this could be something in the instrument cluster, steering colum, or transmission itself. The transmission is shifting normal and there dosent seem to be any issues while driving. Any advice would be appreciated.

sounds like the linkage fron the lever to the tranny neds to be adjusted (tightened up)
