has anyone come across a cummins that starts fine cold runs great and for as long as you want but when you shut it off, it won't start again until it is stone cold? my 99 1 ton dually has just rolled over 300 k, ever since it will not start when the motor is warm. the motor turns but just won't catch, not even a sputter, but cold it fires as soon as you turn the key. its very frustrating, Ive had to be towed home 3 times now and I cannot figure it out whats going on with it. Anyone out there had this problem befor or know wht the problem is?

 

try posting this in the cummins section they know a lot more about them then us if it was gas is say you had low compresion or somthing wronf with your rings or somthing like that but im not shure on a diesel
