I am replacing the u joint on the front axle on the passenger side on a 96 dodge ram. I have been to 6 part houses and no one has the axle wrench to take the nut off the hub and I am not sure of the size. It looks like 1 3/4", but am not sure. Will a 6 point socket work if I can not find a axle wrench. All the Dodge dealership parts departments are closed today or I would call them. This is a very common truck and I can not believe I have not found a wrench! Please help! Do you know the size and where I can order one?
