Default fitting 15" rims

ok guys quick question
how much do i have to grind off of my calipers to fit 15" rims?
ive seen the same truck as mine with 15s but does it mess anything up as far as putting me in danger of not being able to stop?

Depends on the truck. What year? 1/2 or 3/4 ton? Tell us a bit about your ride.

Depends on the rim too. Some rims fit without grinding. Some you have to grind a bit off the caliper. Others you have to grind off of the caliper and the tie-rod end. There's really no way to tell without test fitting the rim first.

Its hard to say like Rom said. Almost have to just order it and see if its fits.

Plan on spending a good half hour grinding if you end up needing to. Even after you grind off enough material the clearance between the wheel and the caliper is extremely close and correct me if I am wrong but all it would take is to get a small rock jammed in there to cause problems. I sold my 15's and got some 17's instead.

i believe in 99 the switches to a bigger caliber so i dont think 15's will fit without massive grinding!
