That is a really good point. I am running 285/75/16. do you think that these tires would mess it up pretty bad?? I am only getting about 225 out of a tank.. But I am in the gas alot too.. I will update after this tank since I have been pretty good on this tank

285/75R16 Tires are only 7.7% larger than the stock 245/75R16 that came on the trucks. If your truck came with 265/75R16 then you are looking at only 3.7% difference.

ie. if you run 200 miles then you would really be traveling 215.4 (245 stock size) or 207.4 (265 stock size).


For those of you that are running 315/75R16 then you are 13.6% or 5.3% different for the stock sizes that I previously listed.

I have 285/75R16 and am averaging 12.1 MPG unajusted, and 13.0 adjusted for tire size.
