As far as this truck (on ebay) being a custom job, I'd say it looks damn good if it is one...from the pictures posted on the auction anyway. Someone should email the guy an ask him for more pics. [>:]

 

yah i agree its one fine job if it is custom just wish there was a way to know for shure i wonder if he would have something to prove it the thing that makes me a little sceptical is the statment "You will not find this truck if you search online, or even ask a Dodge dealer" youd think youd be able to find something somewhere

 

Crew Cab w/ 8ft box! You can't even get the new MegaCab option with an 8ft box. That thing is a monster and for 6-7g it's a good deal if you're into massive trucks.



If it's a custom job then it's a really good one.

 

My previous vehicle was a 2001 Dodge Dakota Motorsports Edition. It was a b***h finding out any information on this truck thru the dealer, and that was both a Dodge AND Chrysler dealership. I found stuff out about it online, but hell, when I took it into the dealer to have it looked at for a trade in....they had all kinds of trouble finding anything out on it via the VIN #.

It's very possible that some select models do in fact present problems for dealers/online searches. Especially if its not a very common vehicle. They only produced I think like 5,000 of the Motorsports Edition Dak's, and I've seen a half dozen since 2003.
